We really like the community, and have been readily welcomed with open arms....(save some of the students who don't like teachers :) . It is very beautiful here, as you might have heard, and I think your view from the Northern where you are now is very similiar to what it will be here. I know the couple who manage the Northern here, and I am very sad to see them leaving. Of course it will be nice to meet you and your family. Most of the teachers shop at the Northern, so you will get to meet us all eventually. Hope all goes well in your flights over. I'm sure you will like it here.
Sayard.

p.s. I hope you like sports, becuase this is a very sports, especially hockey, driven town.Press Darlingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14782753580487229955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18105028.post-61993068912128460822006-11-17T20:54:00.000-07:002006-11-17T20:54:00.000-07:00Congratulations on your move. It sounds like they have you and your little one on the Air Inuit flight up the Hudson Coast to Wakeum Bay!!! Don't let them do that to you and yor family. You can get there far quicker if you fly First Air from Montreal to Kuujuaq. Then you take the Ungava coast flight to your new community. There is an approxiamate 3 hour layover in Kuuj, so pack a lunch, or better yet, make arrangements to go to the Northern there. There are cabs in Kuuj.

Wakeum is a pretty nice community. Like all the north, there are social problems but they have a Northern ; ) Seriously though, I am in a neighboring village and can get you more info, if you want, on your new community.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06140472323335715965noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18105028.post-51068585890072006252006-11-15T21:17:00.000-07:002006-11-15T21:17:00.000-07:00Those are some pretty interesting carvings.I see y...Those are some pretty interesting carvings.I see you are on the move again you say.
