On the Road Again

Hello Everyone
Well, Things change. In order to follow this rule Melissa, Christopher and I are moving. we're moving to another Northern Store to finish off my training. we'll be moving to Repulse Bay above the Arctic circle. Its a small community on the shores of Northern Hudsons Bay. I was just going to do a relief there but now We'll be moving there for a few months till we're ready... or a store's ready for us. This should be a neat experience for us all, and this location is on a Polar Bear migration route, that just might rovide some interesting experiences.

My that is a strange fish

Hello Everyone,
Well, as the ice continues to melt the skidoo's continue to blast across the water. The other day I watched this one take off across the water, He literally took a 10 foot run from a dead stop and sailed across 100 feet of water like a water skier. I found myself saying, he can't do that, that was luck. The next day I watched him do it again. and I got this photo.
Apparently, you need to travel about 30 mph to do this.... 29 mph and , well this was today. It took about 4 hours to complete recovery.

A week Worth of Photo's

Hello Everyone,
Well, We're all sad, Tina's gone home :( Now I'm left sorting through a couple hundred photo's for items of interest for the blog. We hope Tina had a good time, Here are some of the photo's we were able to get.
The lake has started to thaw, the first 50 feet near the shore has started to remain liquid. Now everyone has to leave thier machine on the ice to use them, which can lead to a problem, how do you get across 50 feet of water, there are multiple techniques which you'll see in the following pictures.
We love you Tina, We miss You.
